Shani Geno graduated from Florida College of Natural Health, Orlando, Florida in 1997. After completing the Advanced Therapeutic Massage & Aesthetics Program she realized she wanted to specialize in medical skin care and massage therapy so she began taking courses on Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Chemical Skin Peels. In 1998 she entered the field of Plastic Surgery assisting patients and physicians to prepare skin for cosmetic procedures including CO2 skin resurfacing. She received extensive training in TCA Peel 15-30% solution, Jessner Peel, Glycolic Peels 20-70%, Lactic Acid Peel 70%, Ultrasound Skin Rejuvenation Treatment, Dermaplaning, Camouflage Make-Up Application, Deep Tissue Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
In 2004 she joined the staff of Florida College of Natural Health to teach the Evening Paramedical Skin Care Program to help others succeed in the medical spa industry. The industry started transitioning to laser treatment modalities so she resigned from her teaching position and started Electrology Training achieving her Certified Medical Electrology license by 2007. Shani began to develop expertise in multiple laser treatment modalities including laser hair removal, pigmented lesions, cherry angiomas and facial veins, and became an assistant to Physician/PA with Botox, Facial Fillers, Sculptra Aesthetics, Fractionated CO2, tattoo removal, and erbium laser resurfacing.
Before moving to Massachusetts in June 2016 she had crossed over and started working in reconstructive plastic surgery which was a wonderful learning experience. She is married and has two children. Her hobbies include paddle boarding, gardening, and hiking.
